In the 1740’s, French women’s court fashion revolved around the widening of the hips through the use of a pannier. I wanted to introduce a similar silhouette to a classic of modernity - the power suit. You can just make out the beaded panties the model wears underneath, centering the “power” of the power suit in the wearer’s sexuality. With just one button, she can undo her own garment and slip it right off.
